Inside Rushton - 21.11.25

We've had another busy week of Christmas performance rehearsals and look forward to sharing them with you soon. You can request your tickets here . The PCA will provide refreshments at each performance for a small donation. Our PCA are also collecting tombola prizes, teddies, sweets and cakes for the Christmas fayre and are grateful of any donations - please see below for further details. Next Friday is a mufti day, in exchange for bringing a donation for the Christmas Fayre bottle stall.

On Monday, a group of children from Kestrels attended Futsal at Montsaye and were excellent representatives of our school - please see the sports section below for more information from Mrs Barney, as well as a match report from two attendees!

All three houses have filled their house point jars, and we have carefully considered their prize ideas. We are offering a 'free choice snack' on Monday. Your child can bring any [reasonable!] snack to eat at break time - please note this does not include fizzy drinks, and please ensure all snacks align with our allergy aware status; they must be free from nuts and shellfish. The children were most excited by bringing cheese when we shared ideas in assembly!

Next Wednesday we will be visited by the Life Tent as part of our PSHE curriculum, focussing on mental health. The Life Tent team will visit each class and tailor their workshop to the respective age groups.

We are hosting our penultimate Early Years tour for our 2026 intake on Thursday morning- please do share with any friends or family who are looking for a reception place next September. Details of the upcoming tours can be found on our school website.

As the weather has turned please can I request that all children bring a warm coat to school every day, and have a hat and gloves too.
