Dear Parents and Carers,

This week we've been busy with creative activities in every class. Children have been designing moving vehicles, carrying out experiments, practising their illustration skills and creating Mother's Day cards. On the playground, children across all four classes have been working together to build structures using the crates, foam bricks and planks, and Kestrels have been putting on shows for other children to watch. It's been lovely to watch children play cooperatively and problem-solve together.

We've had a diverse mix of teddies, pyjamas and slippers in school today and everyone's looked very cosy! Red house have also filled their house point jar again, and have earned their next reward! Well done to everyone for your hard work, excellent manners and great attitudes.

Next week we have a KS1 cross-country event on Monday, and curriculum showcases at 3pm across Badgers, Squirrels and Kestrels - please see the upcoming dates below for your child's day. We also have our swim gala practise for invited children and survival swimming in lessons on Friday.

Please ensure you have booked your child's parents' evening appointment on MCAS - if you have any difficulties attending on the scheduled days, please speak to your child's class teacher and they will arrange an alternative with you.

May I remind our families that the field, playground and astroturf pitch are not open at the end of the day and to leave the site promptly once you have collected your child/ ren. Thank you.

Have a lovely weekend,

Miss Hannant
